Protect Our Winters x BUFF

We’d argue you can never have too many BUFFs. You’ll want at least one for summer, one for winter, maybe a heavier fleece or wool option. BUFF has your winter pick covered with its Protect Our Winters x BUFF ($26). Inspired by POW’s “Outdoor State of Mind,” the POW Collection will include three Original EcoStretch BUFFs designed by artist and outdoor guide Jessa Gilbert. There are five designs total.

Pelican RF Field Wallet

Pelican thinks it’s finally created the first waterproof aluminum EDC wallet. The RF G5 Field Wallet ($40) has a sleek, lightweight, and tough aluminum construction, with a silicon o-ring and sturdy snap latch rated to IP67 (submersible to one meter of water for 30 minutes). It also has flexible internal webbing to secure cards and cash, and a removable lanyard. It will be available starting November 26.

Travel the Planet Overland Book

Graeme and Luisa Bell have lived full time on the road for over a decade. If you are interested in overland travel, as a hobby or a lifestyle, but don’t know where to start, Travel The Planet Overland ($39 on pre-order) will serve as your field manual. Intended to inspire and educate others, the Bell’s manual walks readers through all sorts of topics on vehicles, budget, travel and border crossings, and more. There’s just days left to get this Kickstarter to its goal — so check it out.

HEST Car-Camping Mattress

Luxury outdoor mattress maker HEST is out with its most packable car-camping mattress option yet. The Foamy ($299) is made with two layers of memory foam, and has an integrated compression strap and durable, water-resistant exterior fabrics. Rolled, it’s about 15 inches tall, and has a portable carry handle. It also comes in two lengths/sizes. If you are looking for a cushier option, check out the HEST Dually.

Shredly Cascade Pants

Shredly’s new Cascade Pants ($135) are built for the bike, no matter the endeavor. The Cascade Pants are a mountain bike pant made with Shredly’s signature lightweight yet durable, 4-way stretch, quick-dry fabric and Yoga-style waistband to eliminate “back-gap.” The pants also have lots  of pockets, including two zippered at the front that can fit a smartphone. These pants are also offered in sizes 00-24 to accommodate riders of all sizes.

45NRTH Draugenklaw Drop-Bar Pogies

New this year, 45NRTH’s Draugenklaw Drop-Bar Pogies ($85) are the crafty solution for keeping your hands warm and dry on cold commutes, while also allowing for full use of brake and shift levers. From the brand built on battling Mother Nature’s harshest winter climes, these Pogies have a weather-resistant softshell fabric on the outside, and a soft fleece lining on the inside.
