Dome Tents Dome shaped tents are very traditional and offer high levels of stability in wind. Many larger models are hybrids which combine dome and tunnel shapes to make a stable main section with a tunnel shaped sleeping area or porch to give additional headroom and a feeling of space. Smaller models are very simple to erect with usually just two poles that you cross over and tie onto the inner or outer tent.
Family Tents Family tents are usually larger sized tents or those which have significant living space to keep the gang entertained in bad weather! Tunnel shaped tents are very popular for families due to their easy pitching and cheap prices.
Lightweight Tents Lightweight tents are ideal for hikers and walkers who may be carrying their home with them! These tents may use aluminium poles and pegs to lighten the load and are usually low lying to use the minimum of materials.
Pop Up Tents Since Gelert invented the pop up tent they have bred like rabbits! A great option for festival and weekend campers, pop up or quick erect tents simply erect themselves in front of your eyes due to the flexible poles which are compressed down when packed away. Pop up tents are much harder to put down so have a go in your garden before you go away camping so you don't get frustrated whilst away! We have both single and double skin models.
Tunnel Tents Tunnel tents have become one of the most common shapes of tent over the last few years. They offer more headroom than dome tents and are very simple to erect usually with matching or similar size tent poles that you thread through and then pitch out. To make sure they withstand bad weather and winds you must always guy them out properly.
