Getting an electric hookup to your tent is getting a lot more common on larger campsites. It means you can bring lighting from home, take your laptop, power mini fridges and coolboxes and maybe even sneak the hairdryer in! However unlike caravans tents can be prone to damp and leaks and so its essential that you ensure you have a safe, dry connection and use a circuit breaker or RCD unit.
